Comprehensive Administrative Oversight

To ensure secure, compliant access across the organization, Security Administrators maintain full control over which users may utilize the mobile applications. Key capabilities include:

Brute Force Protection: Lock out active sessions after a specified number of failed login attempts, thwarting dictionary-based attacks.
Access Control: Easily enable or disable Mobile Access through an administrative setting.
Additional Authentication Controls: Enable administrators to either prohibit or allow the use of Password Lists configured with “Additional Authentication” within the Mobile App. If allowed, the additional authentication requirement is not enforced in the Mobile App.
Master Password Enforcement: Require users to authenticate with a master password, set within their Preferences. Enforce robust password practices by assigning a Password Strength Policy.
Offline Cache Validity: Define the number of days users can access their offline cache before re-authentication to the Passwordstate App Server is required. Once this period expires, the encrypted offline cache is automatically deleted.
Enhanced MITM Protection: Require re-verification of the App Server’s SSL public key each time the SSL certificate is updated, mitigating the risk of Man-in-the-Middle attacks.
